A day in many days

In one of our days, apart from doing lots of other things which we might not remember or have no time or mood to photograph, we tried to…

Taxidermy a rubber chameleon because a friend who visited NHM in Tring (several times) knows a lot about it and taxidermied his own toy. (This is still an ongoing project, we need to purchase some cotton and soak it in essential oils before we continue, I believe).2014-10-20 17.51.05We beautified Dashy (or was ir Ruby then?) the dog of ever changing names but steady devotion with pretty ear-rings and made her into a Super Girl by creating a Super Cloak out of an outgrown sock.2014-10-20 17.50.26We chopped cheddar cheese for lunch into miniscule cubes because we were too lazy to grate it! (Notice the ‘Big Cheese’ sign on the packet).
2014-10-20 17.49.25After a bit of afternoon gardening we stripped the garden of it’s last autumn flowers to decorate the kitchen window sill.2014-10-20 17.48.22And after the dark fell we fiddled with strings to create friendship bracelets. The one on the right made by mummy, the one on the left not made by the little scholar who preferred to unravel a ball of yarn and hang it around the room. Mummy had no patience to take a picture of THAT, she bowed her head to her work and left the little scholar to explore the world of… strings?2014-10-21 21.08.54
